Does Your Registration Say “Suspense”?
You are still registered to vote. A “Suspense” status generally means your county needs confirmation of your current residential address.
Moved within the same county?
You can update your address online. If your address has not been updated before you vote, you may complete a Statement of Residence at the polling place and vote if you are otherwise eligible.
Moved to a different Texas county?
Update your voter registration with your new address as soon as possible. For the November 3, 2026 election, the voter registration deadline is October 5, 2026.
If your registration in your new county will not be effective by Election Day, you may be eligible to vote a limited ballot during Early Voting in your new county.

Complete your voter registration application online. After completing it, you must print, sign, and mail the application to your County Voter Registrar.
